Salobreña Area on the Costa Tropical

Salobreña Area on the Costa Tropical

The area stretching from Nerja to Motril, and inland to Granada, is one of Spain’s best kept secrets: a truly unspoilt part of the country, known as the ‘Costa Tropical’. Its wide range of geographical features means that it is possible to go skiing in the Serra Nevada in the morning and swimming in the Mediterranean in the afternoon, in the meantime dining in style in a restaurant in one of the area’s many traditional villages.

It is an ideal holiday destination all year round, although from June to September the beaches are the Costa’s main draw. Swimming and fishing are among the most popular activities, as is Scuba Diving, on the only reef in Southern Spain. It is even possible to take a yacht trip to North Africa.

From November to April the nearby Sierra Nevada mountains, boasting Europe’s most Southerly ski resort, with 100km of Alpine ski runs, attracts skiers from all over Europe to take advantage of a variety of winter sports and ski schools. In the summer the mountains continue to attract visitors for walking, climbing, mountain biking and horse riding.

The area also boasts some of the most outstanding villas in Spain, set in locations unequalled for their dramatic views and natural beauty.

Boon Villas Rentals is the perfect starting point for your holiday on the Costa Tropical and we look forward to finding the perfect luxury villa for you.
